Faculty and Staff Achievements
Terri Mariani recently joined Dining Services as its student employment and office coordinator, but she’s hardly a new face on campus.
Sue Rosenberg, writer/editor in the Office of Communications and Marketing, is retiring after nearly 26 years at Skidmore.
Peter Sickler works as a maintenance mechanic for the department of facilities services and has been at Skidmore for nearly 40 years.
Jenna Pitera works as a science librarian in the Scribner Library. Pitera Joined Skidmore in 2017 from a previous position at RPI.
Lisa Quimby works as an instrumentation manager for the Skidmore Analytical Disciplinary Laboratory (SAIL) and the Department of Chemistry. SAIL is a suite of scientific instrumentation that’s open to everyone at Skidmore and Quimby ensures the equipment is running correctly while also teaching students, faculty and other researchers how to use it.
Matt Chatham works as a strength and conditioning coach for Skidmore Athletics. In his fourth year at Skidmore, he designs and implements training sessions for all 19 varsity athletic teams, both in and out of season, to develop strength, speed, endurance and injury prevention related to each sport.
